Tariff Impact & Pricing Update

An Update for Our Customers and Dealer Partners

Like many U.S. hobby companies, Broadway Limited has been navigating significant changes in import tariffs over the past year. We want to be transparent about how these changes affect our pricing and what we're doing about it.

The Current Situation

The U.S. government has imposed tariffs on model trains imported from China and Vietnam — two countries where BLI manufactures its products. These tariffs represent a real cost increase that no company in our industry can fully absorb. Where necessary, we have adjusted dealer and retail pricing to reflect a portion of these increased costs, while working to minimize the impact on our customers as much as possible.

What We're Doing

Broadway Limited has been manufacturing in Vietnam for several years, and roughly half of our product line is now produced there. We continue to evaluate our sourcing strategy — including exploring U.S.-based toolmakers for future products — with the long-term goal of building a more resilient supply chain.
