Going the Extra Mile for Precision: Capturing Model Train Horn Sounds with Joe Goddard

Joe Goddard went to a horn honk in Kentucky last weekend and got the sound of 150 horns in 96k 24 bit stereo - horns ranged in age from the 1950's all the way up to a 2023 K5LLA, and they were all tuned correctly and blown at the proper PSI.

We take pride in getting new sounds to put into our models! These recordings will be used in both HO and N Scale projects and ensuring that we provide the most accurate sounds for your models.

This is fantastic! Really fun to see, and I never knew these kinds of gatherings existed. I look forward to hearing the horn sounds in future models.
