NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT: GE AC6000, PRR M1a/M1b, and ES44AC

Broadway Limited is delighted to present three new N Scale locomotives to our customers in 2024.

First on the list is the PRR M1a/M1b. The M1 represented a class of steam locomotive within the Pennsylvania Railroad. This 4-8-2 "Mountain" type locomotive was originally designed for both passenger and freight tasks, but its primary role eventually evolved into hauling heavy high-speed freight trains. Many PRR crews hailed the M1 class locomotives as the pinnacle of the railroad's steam power.

These models will be available in both Paragon4 Sound/DC/DCC and Stealth variants, each featuring prototypical paint schemes for every road number, as well as Unlettered, DGLE Fantasy Passenger Scheme, and Tuscan Red Fantasy Scheme variations. The order deadline for these steamers is October 26th, 2023, with an anticipated delivery in the spring of 2024.

Next, we're thrilled to reintroduce a fan favorite – the GE AC6000! Manufactured by GE Transportation from 1995 to 2001, the AC6000CW is an impressive diesel-electric locomotive boasting a robust 6,000-horsepower engine, making it one of the world's most potent single-engine diesel locomotives. In 2024, we are producing models of the AC6000CW featuring a range of paint schemes, including both prototypical and fantasy designs. This selection includes units from BHP Billiton's Mount Newman railway, CSX, and Union Pacific, along with several fantasy paint schemes that adapt older railroad liveries onto the modern AC6000CW diesel body.

All our models come equipped with the new Paragon4 DC/DCC Sound and Control system featuring Rolling Thunder, accompanied by integral GoPack capacitor packs. Every model boasts road-specific details and lighting. In addition to the Paragon4 series, these locomotives are also available in our Stealth series.

Lastly, Broadway Limited Imports is thrilled to announce the release of a fresh batch of the GE ES44AC locomotives. These six-axle, 4400 HP locomotives were produced by General Electric from 2002 to 2019, with a total production exceeding 3,700 units. They are currently in service on every Class I railroad in North America.

In 2024, we are introducing models of the ES44AC in an array of paint schemes never before offered by us. This collection includes heritage units from the Canadian National and Iowa Interstate, in addition to Norfolk Southern and CSX. Furthermore, we are offering the Canadian Pacific "Saint John Express" unit, along with several fantasy paint schemes that adapt classic railroad liveries onto the modern ES44AC diesel body.

Like our other models, these locomotives are equipped with the new Paragon4 DC/DCC Sound and Control system featuring Rolling Thunder, coupled with integral GoPack capacitor packs. Each model showcases road-specific details and lighting. Apart from the Paragon4 series, these locomotives are also available in our Stealth series.
